Dr. Bernheim is Board certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. He received his medical degree with honors from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx, NY and earned his Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience and Behavioral Biology at Emory University in Atlanta, GA. Dr. Bernheim completed his residency in Internal Medicine at New York Presbyterian – Weill Cornell Medical Center in New York, NY, during which time he served as Assistant Chief Resident. He completed a fellowship in Gastroenterology at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York, NY and conducted extensive research for the Division of Gastroenterology at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York. Dr. Bernheim joined Gastroenterology Diagnostics in 2014. He has hospital affiliations with St. Joseph’s University Medical Center located in Paterson, St. Joseph’s Wayne Medical Center, Chilton Medical Center, and Valley Hospital.

Dr. Bernheim strives to provide compassionate patient centered care. When he is not practicing medicine he loves to ski, listen to music and spend time with his family.
