Dr. Farkas is Board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He first received his degree in Pharmacology. He then attended medical school and received his medical degree at Ross University School for Medicine in Dominica, West Indies. Dr. Farkas completed his fellowship and residency in Gastroenterology at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center. Through the years he has held numerous prestigious positions at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center. He has also been published in multiple medical journals throughout the course of his career.
Dr. Farkas is one of the founding physicians who started Gastroenterology Diagnostics in 1994. He has hospital affiliations with St. Joseph’s University Medical Center in Paterson.
Dr. Farkas is a practitioner in Hapkido, Aiki Jujitsu, and Qin Na. He believes there is always an opportunity to learn something new in the martial arts.
